Hi, I am Yugo Takanashi. I am a postdoctoral researcher at Kyoto University, hosted by Hiraku Atobe. I am currently interested in the theory of automorphic forms and related harmonic analysis. My doctoral advisor was Yoichi Mieda. I also love listening to various kinds of music.

Research interests
- Langlands correspondence, particularly the classification of automorphic representations.
- Harmonic analysis following the works of Harish-Chandra, Langlands, Arthur, Kottwitz, and Waldspurger.
- Various trace formulas and their applications.
I also like to discuss mathematical puzzles, something combinatorial (such as Coxeter groups, root systems etc.) or undergraduate-level math problems with my friends!

- Listening to music such as classical music (e.g. Bach, Mahler, Ravel, Stravinsky), jazz music (e.g. Harbie Hancock, Art Blakey, Bud Shank, Nat King Cole), EDM (listening to UK garage recently, e.g. Higgo, Sammy Virji), J-pop (e.g. tofubeats, sakanaction, Tatsuro Yamashita, Noriyuki Makihara, B'z) and K-pop music (NewJeans).
